Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Puerto Galera, Mindoro, Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-13; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-11. Characterized by having completely united pelvic fins with well-developed frenum; very long and pointed caudal fin; longitudinal scale series 63-67; cycloid scales on head and body; predorsal scales absent; head with prominent papillae ridges; depth of body 8.5-9.0 in SL (Ref. 90102).
