Max. size:  13.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: endemic to Lake Lanao, Mindanao, Philippines.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits lake.
IUCN Red List Status: Extinct (EX); Date assessed: 02 January 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Type specimen was collected in 1921 from Dansalan, Lake Lanao, together with Barbodes katolo (Ref. 2929). No specimen was caught during the 1994 expedition (Ref. 10888) and 2008 survey (Ref. 95183). Also Ref. 280, 12255, 13446, 70969, 94476.
