Distribution:  Asia: Simulao River (center of Mindanao), Philippines.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Back brown. Obtuse snout without pores. 8-9 scales from nape to dorsal; 2 scale rows between ventral origin and lateral line.
