Family:  Antigoniidae (Deepbody boarfishes)
Max. size:  10.6 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 125 - 340 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Okinawa Trough, Indonesia, tropical Australia, and New Zealand.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the continental shelf and continental slope. Benthic species (Ref. 75154).

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Specimen (2.53 cm SL) caught by otter trawl in 115-144 m and another (9.85 cm SL) by beam trawl in 223-369 m (Ref. 95664).
