Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 20 - 60 m
Distribution:  Southwest Pacific: southern Queensland to eastern Bass Strait, Australia. A similar species, Zebrias penescalaris Gomon 1987, occurs on the southwest coast (Ref. 9002).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in harbors and coastal waters (Ref. 9002).
