Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: rapids just below Pool Malebo, Pool Malebo (= Stanley Pool) and the Ubangi (middle Congo River basin) (Ref. 78218, 82238) in Democratic Republic of the Congo.
