Family:  Mochokidae (Squeakers or upside-down catfishes), subfamily: Mochokinae
Max. size:  24 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: upper Congo River basin (Ref. 78218, 82238), particularly the Luapula-Mweru and Zambian Congo (Ref. 78218) in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia. Also reported from the upper Kasai (middle Congo River basin) in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 82238).
