Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6.5 - 8; dH range: 4 - 25
Distribution:  Africa: middle Congo River basin (Ref. 78218, 82238), including Pool Malebo (= Stanley Pool) and the drainages of the Ubangi and Kasai (Ref. 82238). Also reported from the Maiko-Loboya (lower Lualaba tributary) in the upper Congo River basin (Ref. 106245).
