Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 36 - 69 m
Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: off Brazil from Baia da Ilha Grande to Rio Grande do Sul.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 80-86; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 66-72
Biology:  Apparently inhabits muddy or calcareous mud substrates of inner continental shelf (Ref. 26268).
