Family:  Engraulidae (Anchovies), subfamily: Engraulinae
Max. size:  7.7 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; brackish; marine; depth range 0 - 50 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Micronesia (Guam, Mariana Islands and Kosrae, Caroline Islands).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Presumed coastal, pelagic and schooling. Recorded only from bays and estuaries. The eggs are oval with a small knob.
