Max. size:  7.51 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine, amphidromous
Distribution:  Oceania: Palau and Yap (Micronesia).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 11-12. Spines of 1st dorsal fins in males usually filamentous, may reach seventh or eight ray of 2nd dorsal fin; scale count in lateral series 46-51, usually 48-50; scales in predorsal midline almost always naked; opercle may or may not be scaled; cheek almost always naked; breast always scales.
