Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobionellinae
Max. size:  1.75 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 8 - 25 m
Distribution:  Mediterranean Sea: known from the holotype collected in the Grotto of Banjole, near Rovinj, Croatia. No further published records, but now known also from Adriatic islands of Krk, Prvic, and Hvar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs inshore; in a grotto (Ref. 4696, 51024). Prefers caves abd other dark habitats (Ref. 92840). Benthic (Ref. 51024).
