Max. size:  40 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 780 - 1540 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: known from a single specimen collected in the Gulf of Tomini in the Celebes. Reported in Cross Seamount (Ref. 7460).
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 7-7
Biology:  Found on the continental slope (Ref. 40452). Benthic (Ref. 58302).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 August 2019 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
