Dorsal spines (total): 12-12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 21-21; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 21-22; Vertebrae: 38-38. Body is olive-yellow dorsally, becoming paler on the sides and abdomen. The cheeks and part of the operculum orange-yellow; the fins uniformly grayish, with some indication of dots on the rays of the second dorsal fin. One or two yellow-orange stripes run along the sides of the body. |
