Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 7, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Konkouré, Kolenté, Corubal (Ref. 7372) and Little Scarcies (Ref. 3033) in Guinea, Gambia River in Senegal (Ref. 47461) and Bani River in Mali (Ref. 57261).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It inhabits quiet brooks, swamps and weedy parts of small streams (Ref. 3788). It is not a seasonal killifish and difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
