Family:  Atelomycteridae (Coloured catsharks)
Max. size:  70 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 72 - 410 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: off Suriname (Ref. 13608) and Brazil (off Amazon River mouth).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the upper continental slope. Oviparous (Ref. 50449).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 01 July 2019 Ref. (130435)
