Family:  Atelomycteridae (Coloured catsharks)
Max. size:  62 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Peru and Chile.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  An inshore shark found on the continental shelf. Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Sexual dimorphism is evident in dentition of male species (Ref. 49562).
