Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Leynavatn on Streymoy Island, Faroe Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits deep part of Lake Leynavatn. Feeds mainly on chironomids and cladocerans. Spawns in early October. Attains a maximum size of up to about 20 cm SL (Ref. 59043).
