Family:  Bothidae (Lefteye flounders)
Max. size:  7.2 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 67 - 80 m
Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Chesterfield and Bellona Plateaus and the Fairway Ridge, west of New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:  Maximum SL about 7.2 cm (Ref 42535).
Biology:  Inhabits sandy bottoms and feeds on benthic animals.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 04 March 2015 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
