Max. size:  20 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 30 - 185 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Trinidad to eastern Colombia, most common off Venezuela. Not in Compagno's 1999 checklist (Ref. 35766).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A benthic species on continental shelf. Biology unknown. Size known only from few specimens (Ref. 114953).
