Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Breiter Luzin in northern Germany.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A lacustrine species reported to inhabit deep water layers (20-58 m) and move to shallow waters to spawn (Ref. 59043). A small deep-water species with large eyes (Ref. 13696). Spawns April-July, usually May-June. Feeds mainly on chironomids and Mysis relicta (Ref. 59043).
