Family:  Chaenopsidae (Pike-, tube- and flagblennies)
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 4 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Gulf of California to Acapulco, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Adults inhabit empty barnacle shells on rocky reefs (Ref. 11482). Feed on zooplankton (Ref. 11482). Eggs are deposited in vacant barnacle tests and are defended by the male parent (Ref. 85398).
