Distribution:  Africa: Lake Malawi (Karonga to Monkey Bay)(Ref. 4979) and Lake Malombe (Ref. 94785) in Malawi.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits inshore waters and feeds on zooplankton (Ref. 267). Mouthbrooder (Ref. 94785).
