Distribution:  Asia: River Xinjiang in China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5. This species can be diagnosed from other congeners by its heart-shaped lamina circularis and body scales almost round, with a large excentric focal area (Ref. 95089).
