Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Oceania: Northern Territory, Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found among detritus in shallow pools with rock, sand or gravel bottoms. Recently separated from C. eremius on the basis of electrophoretic and morphological evidence. The life history and general biology of these species are similar (Ref. 44894).
