Max. size:  12 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 36 - 75 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: endemic to Guam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 13-13; Dorsal soft rays (total): 20-20; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 16-16
Biology:  Only known from a few specimens collected at depths over 30 m along the current-swept drop-offs of Orote Peninsula, Guam. Occur singly or in pairs among black corals. Oviparous (Ref. 205). Form pairs during breeding (Ref. 205). Do well in captivity.
