Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine; depth range 10 - 50 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Senegal to Angola. Recorded from the Niger River estuary.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabit sandy or muddy bottoms in coastal waters (Ref. 2683).
