Max. size:  5.45 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range - 18 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: endemic to Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs on rubble bottom of inshore waters (Ref. 75154). Ovoviviparous (Ref. 205). The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail (Ref. 205). Male may be brooding at 3.65 cm SL.
